Coles claims a tech first in mobile wallet options

Australian retailer Coles has launched what it's calling a "retail first in mobile technology" with the introduction of a mobile wallet that combines a loyalty program with mobile payments.

Shoppers who hold a Coles MasterCard can pay for goods up to $100 (AUD) with their smartphone. Shoppers need one of the store's Pay Tag stickers affixed to the back of a device that works in conjunction with an app. Story
