Chutes & Ladders: HSNi gets a new executive officer, Mars Chocolate names new VP of sales

> HSN named Jeffrey Kuster as president of Cornerstone and executive officer of HSNi. He will report directly to HSNi CEO Mindy Grossman. Kuster was most recently executive VP and chief marketing and strategy officer for Berkshire Hathaway's Fruit of the Loom. In his new role he will be responsible for HSNi's portfolio of aspirational home and apparel lifestyle brands including Frontgate, Ballard Designs, Garnet Hill, Grandin Road, Chasin Fireflies, Improvements and TravelSmith. > Mars Chocolate North America appointed Timothy LeBel to the role of VP of sales, where he will be in charge of strategy and execution of the company's retail management, customer account teams, field sales, customer development and customer experiences. He has been with the company for almost 25 years, working in both the chocolate and petcare divisions, where he held responsibility for sales strategies and in-store execution across several channels. > Walgreens announced Linda Filler has been named president of retail products and chief merchandising officer, effective Jan. 1. Filler will be charged with taking the lead on the company's vision, leadership, strategic direction and performance of all Walgreens merchandising activities. She was most recently served as president of Claire's Stores, operating more than 3,000 locations in 17 countries in North America and Europe. Before that, she was executive VP and chief merchandising officer for Sam's Club, where she led and owned brand strategy. Press release

> Loehmann's has named Jessica's Brands President Tony D'Annibale to its advisory board. He previously served as CMO at Rue La La, and before that was executive VP of merchandising at Loehmann's for more than 20 years under its former ownership. Story

> Electronic shelf label company Pricer has appointed Charles Jackson as executive VP global sales, marketing and strategy. Jackson returns to the company after serving as CEO between 2007 and 2010, during which time he was responsible for Pricer's international expansion with acquisitions and successful integrations, a time of improved growth and profitability. Before that he had a leading international position with competitor SES. Press release

> Harry Cunningham has been appointed head of store development for Vera Bradley. Cunningham will officially begin in his new role on Dec. 8, and will be in charge of developing visual and store merchandising designs for Vera Bradley's company-owned unit and its department stores. In addition, he will be responsible for new store construction, remodels and site selection for future stores. He was most recently senior VP of store planning, design and visual merchandising at Saks Fifth Avenue, and previously served in visual merchandising roles at Liz Claiborne, Sakes Department Store Group and Dillard's.
