British shoppers buying smaller quantities more often

U.K. shoppers are going to grocery stores at least twice as often as they were five years ago. In addition, they are spending less money and more often in convenience stores, with a quarter of the population visiting one every day. The driving factor is prepared foods for time-strapped consumers. For example, Mexican meal kits are up 20 percent, Thai meal kits are up 15 percent, and on-the-go breakfast meals are up 10 percent from last year. Story
