Amazon extends its holiday shipping deadlines

Amazon announced it would extend deadlines for shoppers to make purchases and still get packages delivered in time for Christmas day. The e-commerce giant said that orders could be placed as late as 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 19, giving shoppers one more day over last year's holiday shopping season. Prime members have until Dec. 22 and 12 metro areas can choose same-day delivery, even on Christmas Eve. Story
