Advance Auto Parts names former GE exec VP, supply chain

Advance Auto Parts has named Todd Greener senior VP of supply chain. He will take responsibility for executing the company's system-wide supply chain integration and transportation strategy while reporting to Charles Tyson, executive VP of merchandising, marketing and supply chain.

"I am excited to welcome Todd to the Advance team as we work to provide superior availability to our stores and customers," Tyson said in a statement. "Todd has over 20 years of experience in operational excellence with progressive global experience driving significant operational and sustainable strategic improvements across several fast-paced consumer and industrial markets."

Greener has spent those 20 years at General Electric, where he served most recently as general manager for appliance distribution operations in the GE Appliances business. He also held numerous leadership positions within the company, including with GE Transportation, GE Lighting and GE's corporate audit staff. Press release
