Ace Hardware names VP of IT

Ace Hardware announced Rick Williams, a 25-year veteran of the company, as its new VP of information technology, reporting to executive VP and CFO Bill Guzik. He will be responsible for driving strategic technology and systems management to deliver significant return on investments.

"Rick has been a loyal Ace employee for more than 25 years and is incredibly well-respected within the Ace Hardware organization," Guzik said. "Rick knows our people and knows our business. These qualities are paramount to the success of our growing IT and business endeavors."

Williams first joined Ace Hardware as a software developer and worked within the retail division of IT for 15 years. Throughout his career, he has worked with or supported every department and has held various positions, including director of software engineering and, most recently, senior director of IT business systems.
