58% of shoppers prefer mobile to a sales associate

It seems shoppers trust their mobile devices above all other information sources when heading to stores. According to the Consumer Electronics Association, when consumers need to look up information, 58 percent prefer to look it up on their mobile devices while in-store rather than speak with store employees. In addition, 62 percent of shoppers believe the information they research on mobile devices is more reliable than in-store information available on product displays or literature. Story
