18% of shoppers would hit stores Christmas Day if retailers opened

When LoyaltyOne Consulting asked 1,267 U.S. shoppers what they would do if retailers opened their doors at 6 p.m. on Christmas, 18 percent responded that they would use the extra time to shop and return gifts. The highest interest came from millennials—30 percent of younger millennials (ages 18 to 24) said they would shop on Christmas and 27 percent of those 25 to 34 years old. Story
