Zappos launches loyalty program

Zappos has launched its first-ever loyalty program with four tiers of benefits for shoppers. Zappos Rewards is the shoe retailer's way to offer customers rewards points toward future purchases, free expedited shipping on all orders, and early access to exclusive products and sales.

Zappos.com will now offer free one- and two-business day shipping on all orders, with no minimum order values or membership fees.

"As we designed the Zappos Rewards program, our goal was to take our customer service to the next level," said Arun Rajan, COO of Zappos.com. "We leaned on one of our company purposes – 'To Live and Deliver WOW' – and we trust this program will truly wow our customers."

The program offers silver, gold, platinum and invite-only elite tier programming. Customers can redeem every 1,000 points earned for $1 in Reward Codes. Ten points are earned for every $1 spent; 50 point for logging onto Zappos.com; and 100 points for writing a review.
