Grubhub, NCR partnership makes ordering faster, easier

Grubhub's new platform aims to make ordering easier for customers while streamlining POS for restaurant partners.

The NCR Corporation, a global transaction technology company, has partnered with online food-ordering company Grubhub to offer customers a new way to pay for their orders. 

The integration of NCR's Aloha Platform of Sales (POS) with Grubhub's delivery market makes the user experience faster and increases efficiency by the third-party restaurant. Two brands that are live with the initial integration include Potbelly Sandwich Shop and On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina.

Restaurants will manage orders from the core POS platform, saving time on menu updates, freeing up space on the crowded counter, viewing financials and accounting, and making smarter use of staff.
