The NCR Corporation, a global transaction technology company, has partnered with online food-ordering company Grubhub to offer customers a new way to pay for their orders.
The integration of NCR's Aloha Platform of Sales (POS) with Grubhub's delivery market makes the user experience faster and increases efficiency by the third-party restaurant. Two brands that are live with the initial integration include Potbelly Sandwich Shop and On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina.

Restaurants will manage orders from the core POS platform, saving time on menu updates, freeing up space on the crowded counter, viewing financials and accounting, and making smarter use of staff.
“Foodservice delivery is expected to substantially grow within the next five years, which means restaurants need technology automation to leverage this trend with minimum impact to their existing operations,” said Don Zimmerman, VP and general manager for hospitality solutions at NCR Corporation. “Grubhub’s integration with our NCR Aloha POS platform enables real-time, automated communication between the restaurant and Grubhub helping to ensure that their menus are up-to-date and orders placed on Grubhub flow the same way the restaurant’s in-store orders do today.”
