Alibaba establishes partnership with top retail conglomerate in China

Alibaba has announced a strategic partnership with China's leading retailer Bailian Group to explore new forms of retail opportunities across each other's ecosystems. Alibaba will help the retailer achieve better integration between offline stores, merchandise, logistics and payment tools, with the online world. Alibaba will also assist in improving new retail outlet design, retail technology research and design, and customer relationship management. Headquartered in Shanghai, Bailian has more than 4,700 outlets across 25 provinces and 200 cities.  (Business Wire)
