8% of shoppers use app of store they are in

According to a new inMarket survey of in-store mobile shopping behaviors, only 8 percent of shoppers were actually using the app of the retail store where they were currently shopping. Not surprising, the most common in-store use of a smartphone was for related research, at 55 percent. Next most popular uses were messaging unrelated to shopping, 14 percent, and listening to music, 12 percent. (Marketing Land)
