Women's apparel retailer Chico's FAS announced today that David Dyer has indicated plans to retire as president and CEO of the company at the conclusion of the company's 2015 fiscal year in spring of 2016. Dyer will retain his role until a successor is appointed and will remain on the board in the newly created role of Vice Chairman until his term ends in June 2016.
Albert Boscov has retired as CEO of Boscov's Department Store at the age of 85, leaving the helm of the company in the hands of his nephew, Jim Boscov. Jim will continue to serve as vice chairman and marks the third successive generation of the Boscov family to lead the privately owned business, founded more than 100 years ago.
